Oh give it time. That's what companies in the late seventies thought and we all know what they got for their practices in the early eighties.

Buying Ubisoft games at launch is becoming less appealing by the day. I'm pretty much just waiting for huge price drops on all their games now.
This is the same thing as an embargo. The main thing I have against this is the fact a lot of games are being released in less than functional state. There will be no warning this time. That is not good for consumers.

Yeah, its just that they have some great and passionate developers. So not buying their games will hurt them waaaaaay before it reaches the top dogs in the company...

My comment was suppose to be a joke, but I can see it happen. It's so sad that gamers today are so easily fooled by these companies. What's worse is they try and defend these decision, but if they're content with shitty buisness practices then so be it. I have a backlog to pass me this generation and the indie scene has been showing some crative and unique ideas.
Oh, you sneaky Ubisoft, you!
Look! No review embargo!*
*Includes an embargo on review copies
Maybe people will just post reviews based on the open Beta starting tomorrow.

I'm not trying to hurt anyone. Broken games or glorified expansion packs just aren't worth full price. I guessing The Crew will fall into the former category, as they're not sending out review copies.

Thats true, but you also have games like FarCry 4 and Rayman Legends...

Far Cry 4 falls into the glorified expansion pack category. Rayman Legends is awesome and so I bought it. More games like Rayman and I'll shut up.
