I owned both a spectrum and later c64 in the late 80s early 90s so i can see where the article is coming from but Nintendo had good success last gen that they could have capitalised on more.I guess that is true in all markets though.Also c64 and speccy were both still very popular until 1990/mid 91.1993 was when the games finally left store shelves.

Nice avatar, hancock would be lost on most of the guys here, still stand by the fact that the games on the specyy were the hardest i have ever played, nearest thing this generation has been demon souls, and say dead space, 1 and 2 (hardest settings) and getting platinium on batman aa!

NES games only £40, were? I remember them being £60-80 and the Amiga 1200 games £20 or less (I still own those Amiga games).

A fad doesn't last for decades, including mature games.

The U.K likes Nintendo...HH's. The 3DS seems to be selling well.
