Sometimes, games don't evolve for the better. Look at Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. It tried evolving by putting vehicles. It was critically panned. But I'm just saying that a game won't degrade in quality just because of age. I recently played Goldeneye 007 for the N64. It might have terrible controls, but I understand why people say it is one of the best FPS games of all time.
