You do realise this award show is backed by Nintendo right?

I agree it's silly to do awards before the year is actually over, but you would assume they've played review copies of the games at least anyways.

I assume Nintendo backed them the least. ;)

Because this list is full of crappy games.

I haven't played at least half the games there, so can't really comment. But... have you played them all to know that?

I don't buy games with crappy framerates. Never mind calling them the best action adventure games lol.

A lot of these games were broken on the day of release. I've yet to encounter a single glitch, massive framerate drops or bugs in any of my WIi U games that aren't called Batman: Arkham City (great game though, but port quality could've been better).

So... you think the game with the best framerate should automatically be named game of the year then?

Nope, if a game is poorly optimised it shows the lack of care that went into the entire game. A passionate developer wont let his game ship out in a broken mess.

I bought Rome Total War II and I regret it still. What a shitty shitty game. No surprise when you look at who published it.

Ok, so now you are saying not running at 60fps = a broken mess?

That's hardly what I would call a broken mess...

I said massive framerate drops, never said something about 60fps and never dropping once (though that is what great games have like Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World).

Zelda: Wind Waker was only 30fps and had some framerate drops, but they never got into the way of the gameplay because they occured rarely.

Seems like a good list of nominees.

That best remaster award... wow, that's a tough one

If this was 2013 nominees we would call BS on remaster award.... in 2014 this award make perfect sense.

GTA V deserve the nod since I still can't play Halo MCC online properly.

Yeah, I think Halo MCC's launch problems kind of screwed up its chances. I hope Pokemon wins though, it's the only one that is a proper remake rather than just improved graphics.

Pokémon doesn't stand a chance againt GTA V and The Last of Us.

Love that Rockstar and Valve just look like faceless corporations next to all of the actual people

Rockstar dont really have a big name spokesperson and Gabe is busy making Half Life 3.

Your exact words were 'I don't buy games with crappy framerates'. So if you didn't mean any and all games below 60fps (as many do when they say that) what did you mean? Which games exactly were you referring to?

Certain games that have framerates as low as 15-18 fps. ;) Or that have weird glitches where persons have no faces and only eyes... Lol.

stable 30fps isn't crappy. Framerate drops from 30 to 10 is however.

Most Anticipated Game
Batman: Arkham Knight
Bloodborne
Evolve
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

No Halo 5? Zelda Wii U? Two of the game are PS4 exclusives.... Fine Uncharted 4 should be on the list but who would vote for Bloodborne has most anticipated game.

My top anticipated game is Xenoblade chronicles... but seem like the most anticipated game is not that accurate.
