No, I'd say it's somewhere near the same.

It might be the same, but hell, there are a TON more Gamestop tournaments for Brawl on the release date than Halo 3, mainly because Brawl is rated T so younger people can join in.

I don't think Nintendo will ship enough...but 3 million in the first week isn't that unbelievable...look at the facts.

Melee sold 1 million in Japan in its lifetime.
Brawl sold 1 million in Japan, in what, less than 2 weeks?

Melee sold 4 million in the US in its lifetime.
Brawl selling 3 million in one week? The numbers say it's possible. Shipping enough is what matters.

I believe the confirmed number of first shipment is 2 million. and frankly, I don't think they will sell out all of them.
