No its not. Most games embargo is the day of release. People in XBE said the same with Sunset Overdrive and it scored 82 meta.

It's become standard procedure. I thought people would have accepted by now that a review embargo doesn't mean anything. Uncharted 2 and 3 both had review embargos:

Embargoes until launch have become the way most publishers want it. Which is a shame, but that's all it is.

This game is the best LBP game of them all. I'm not going into detail because I've been answering question all night on Gaf. All I'll say is it's stunning.

Not like this game is going to be frontloaded, if the past entries are anything to go by, so I really don't think that Sony is trying to hide how "poor" the game actually is from people wanting to buy this.

It's gonna get panned. It's not open world. Unfinished, have to make your own games. Guns don't pack much punch. Cross platform with last gen. Not enough sidequests. Lacking leveling system. Only 1 currency, if you can call stickers that. Have to grind (play) the game to unlock everything. Limited to 4 players online. It's not Mario, superfluous platformer wanne be.

I could be wrong on all accounts ofcourse, I have no clue about the game, just that I'll buy it day 1.

I'm confident with this game. New features and tools are cool. Previews are good. The three new characters have their own personality and abilities. This is a beautiful opportunity to showcase the potential of DualShock 4. Too many shooters or action games this year, so LBP3 should be considered like a breath of fresh air from critics.

I agree.  It's hard to predict the bs journalists spew out.  Games that have some similarities to their previous titles but add a lot to the overall experience will get panned for being the same exact game, while games like a Mario sequel and Pokemon are usually the exact same game sometimes having one or two minor changes, if that, then score in the high 80s and 90s. 

Doesn't work out. They can play the game fast as possible, write the review. And let it sit till 12AM. The lazyness would still happen.
