dont get why they are penalizing lbp for being more of the same

battlefield
bayonetta
nba
are all more of the same
the new one has 3 new characters , a much longer campaign , very much improved controlss and tools that takethe game to a higher level, its a much bigger leap compared to the aformentioned and yet it will get graded harder and stricter ( EG LIKE LEGO BATMAN 3 , what is up with the scores , it hands down the best lego )

I think this is the gen where we will see more shady ongoings with reviewers and more (some unnecessary) day of review embargos. Shadow of Morridor had an embargo and was very well received.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I don't think anyone will, if they do they'll get criticism like yours and I agree with you. LPB games are too far and few between to get the critism that some other series (Ass Cred and CoD) do about same game each year.

If they do criticise it, speak out.

i don't care about the meta,.. lbp is a game i love and i will love this one too.

my only concerns is if the online works and to be honest,.. i'll be pleasantly surprised if the online works. i've already made plans to try out shareplay with my friend under the assumption it will be a more stable connection that way.

Yeah if a franchise takes a 3 year break in between (almost 4 because LBP2 released in January 2011), makes a next gen jump (yeah the PS4 version will be significantly better if for nothing else than online working faster even if you ignore the visuals), and adds a bevy of creation tools, characters, campaign, and makes all the levels more 3 dimensional then it definitely can't get the "more of the same" moniker.

First of all it was a terrible week to release the game (Smash, DA3, GTA5, FC4,etc) and now the review is going to be overshadowed as the Smash Bros embargo is lifted at the same time!

Is there even a sackgirl? Is there a 4th person mode? Does it break the 5th wall? Will it cater to your 6th sense? Can you invite a 7th guest? Does the AI adhere to the 8 circuits of conciousness?
