Forums - Gaming - which is worse: broken games or delays?

which do you hate more?

games released on time with lots of issues 34 97.14%

game delays 0 0%

they both make me AAAAANN... 1 2.86%

Total:35

There seems to be a lot of the two this year and you hear people constantly whining on both sides of the arguement. I personally prefer delays since there are always more games to play and I'd rather a game be released in its best possible version rather than get a glitchy game and wait for patches. Recently it was announced Bloodborne would be pushed back one month so it doesn't release the same month as the order and people were flipping out (although admittedly most of them did seem to be Xbox fanboys trolling) but it just got me wondering which you guys hate more; when a game is delayed or when it is released on time but with a lot of issues?

broken games are worst. as long as the delayed game works properly

Broken game by far cause when you buy a game, you expect to play it and not have issues

That's my thoughts too. People get so mad at game delays but I'd much rather they take the time to release a great game than a rush job with lots of bugs.

I can always wait for a delayed game, there are plenty of other games to play. Better to delay than to release a broken game.
(unless it's Driveclub or AC Unity, they were both delayed AND broken).

Broken games that were delayed.

Sounds like something that was said before online became big. Now there are patches to fix things...

It's from an 2012 interview.
