I was just thinking about how this game wont release until 2015 and how i was DREADING this long wait. I'm really excited for this game more so than pretty much EVERY other games besides FF15 and KH3. 2015 is long enough. My  birthday is later this month,I'm 23 now and will be 25 when this game releases in 2015. THAT IS LONG ENOUGH!

I'm not even sure who would suffer the most from that oO.  It would certainly neuter the PS4 and Xbone's holiday lineup, but it would also do a good bit of damage to Nintendo's.  Nintendo does have Xenoblade Chronicles X, which is very marketable in my honest opinion (open world, scifi, giant robots, I mean, come on?), but it is far too young a franchise to be doing the heavy lifting.  Honestly, it would be bad news for all three.  Xbone would probably get the worst of it proportionately even if Nintendo hurt the most numerically.

And they will be praised.  Meanwhile Nintendo will release Majora's Mask on 3DS and people will complain that all they do is re-release old games :P

Seriously, they showed a CG cutscene at that point that was unashamedly not gameplay. It was clearly a ways off.

Year 3of a console is usually the best in terms of games so it wouldn't surprise me.

Pay particular attention to the part where he said they would happily sacrifice the quality their aiming for in order to get it out on time.
