even though its ND im going to refuse to expect anything amazing until its in my console and about to boot.

I'm with u. I can't freakin wait. Just the PS Experience has me crazy excited in hopes of seeing more Uncharted.

The graphics and capabilities of gaming changes with the generations as far as consoles are concerned. If you don't expect this I suggest you stick with your older consoles because you know the uncanny valley is inevitable.

You said it, I hope to see some real surprises! I'm buying Quantum Break to hold me off once I start my TPS binge next year. Knowing Naughty Dog it will destroy Quantum Break though.

"Hyper real" graphics in games don't really impress me much, honestly, because no matter what, it's not going to look "REAL", and I wouldn't really want it to anyway. If I wanted to see reality, I'd watch a movie, or go outside.

Show me a game that looks as good as a modern Pixar movie, then we'll talk.

That is a subjective view of aesthetic preference. Thats a personal thing.
