If they want to make a huge loss on the service, sure.

What I really wonder is how expensive the subscription service will be, it will probably be something insane.

Right but when you think about it, they're basically saying you'll need TWO subs for one gaming console lol. I mean, just saying that sounds ridiculous to me. I know it's suppose to be thought of as an extra etc, but come on. Two subs? Seems like overkill.

If they gave this away with PS+ and stopped giving away free games, that would/might offset the difference or at least mitigate it. It would be a death blow for MS imo because they don't HAVE a service like this.

No, I just think expecting anyone to pay two subscriptions for one console is a bit overkill unless you're rich or live with mom and dad and don't have bills to pay. I also think that allowing some sort of basic free entry to PSnow would be a good advantage against the 'Bone.

Maybe, but it IS an 8 year old console. Steve Jobs once said when asked about the iPhone cannibalizing iPod sales "It's a good problem to have." If people start buying PS4's to get PSnow and stop buying PS3's, that's not a bad problem to have.

My point was you can get PSnow on ps3 so game sales would plummet

But it is a seperate service from PS+ just like Music Unlimited is seperate from PS+. They don't overlap at all. Technically, PS4 has had two subscriptions since launch. Throw Netflix, Crackle, Hulu+ on there and its like 5 subscriptions.

Hell you don't even need PS+ for PSNow so if you want to emulate older games rather than play online, then just get that.

My bad, sorry. But an easy fix for that would obviously be to just make it a PS4 exclusive. I mean what's the point of even having this on PS3 when all the old games are there to buy and the hardware can play any PS3 disc you buy off ebay?
