incredible to think that Ubisoft would reach EA levels of unpopularity in a year...

Honestly, I feel like these huge publishers are about to tank hard. The gaming industry has been booming and booming and money has been pouring in, but it is reaching a breaking point. These idiot publishers are becoming so greedy with releasing this crap yearly and trying to make quick grabs at cash that their are going to do themselves in. The idiot consumers are only now recognizing this and reacting, but man they sure did take a long time to react. Resolution, FPS and graphic fidelity is truly the bane of this generation as it is a smoke screen for what is really going on - no originality, no innovation, no fun. People have been fed this yearly crap and have been eating it up, but I guess they are getting full.

Looks like companies have to screw over the superior PS4 and XB1 fans to get the media talking.

PC and WiiU fans obviously doesn't matter...

Wii U and PC just aren't relevant to the mainstream "gaming" media, even with the Wii this happened to a degree.

Well we are sorry for being so irrelevant...

honestly, my problem now are with the people that actually went out to buy this game. Gamers really need to learn that as long as they are willing to pay for something, they are indirectly telling publishers that they are ok with whatever they did.

I mean if just once, gamers could come together on hold out on buying a game for the first two weeks just to make a point, everyone would be surprised how this industry would change.

I used to really like Ubisoft. I liked that they tried their luck with many new IPs, big and small, and that they tried to support every piece of HW out there.

Since the release of WD, it's all been fuck-up after fuck-up after fuck-up.

I'm really glad I avoided buying Unity until reviews and comments. The glitches are a joke and the companion app thing is fucking bullshit, I don't have a smartphone and I don't fucking want to get a companion app to unlock chests in the game.

errrrr..... i think your problem with the industry is different from ours.

It's going to be interesting to see how Ubi will handle the disaster.

agreed, i think games have become so big in scope and budget that publisher feel that their greediness is justified, what they seem to ignore is that you can make an AWESOME game without spending millions and millions of dollars, just take From Software as an example. i love Demons Souls and its a B game in terms of Budget and honestly even though the upcoming Bloodborne looks awesome in all fronts i wouldnt be surprised if it was a game with a "moderate" budget in other words maybe a "A" game but never a "AAA" game.

From Software is probably not the best example with its shitty PC ports^^
