MS resorting to their usual channel stuffing tactics. Huge shipment numbers during the holidays and a massive drop after that.

Almost 10 million consoles shipped doen't say too much though. They've almost shipped the units to sell on Black Friday and for the rest of the holiday which will obviously take them past 10m. For all we know they could be less than 9m right now.

Nonetheless, impressive.

Sounds like almost any product or toy out there: sells biggest during the holidays.

If it's almost 10m shipped for XOne, it should be almost 18-20m shipped for PS4.  Another good PR from someone close to MS...

Well obviously we'll have to wait and see if this is increased stock for the holidays (though 3.5 million in stock would be pretty unprecedented as far as I know so there's probably going to have to be some adjusting in the VGC totals) but I'm really just glad that we've gotten some definitive shipment numbers for Xbox One. Hopefully we can get back to a position where all three first party publishers are giving individual shipping numbers for each of their platforms instead of this combined nonsense Sony and MS had been doing recently.

"Almost" = After holidays.

And it's normal, after holidays, we can expect something like 2 millions ( ?) XOne sold to consumers, so it would left 1.5 millions on retailers (Xone is at 6.5 millions, something like that).

And with all the Tiers 2 country + japan + china, it's normal to have a lot of shipped Xone.
