Nothing was said off base. Premature maybe on future prediction, but correct so far on what has happened. The other thread was a serious joke. If the mods saw this going the same way then they would lock it right away.

I am going to guess it is because the article says MS dropped Kinect in May when they really dropped it in June. Either way the point the article is trying to make still stands.
Author understandably mistook it for May since it was announced around midway through that month.

Exactly. I didn't find anything in this article rediculous. Just because something negative is said doesn't mean it is rediculous.
Don't know what to say; it's clear MS are wasting so much money and things are not going how they believed a year ago. I still think their stupidest move was the Kinect-less XOne : MS should remain faithful to the original decision, and be more consistent, coherent.
MS basicly admitted in front of the world that they made a huge mistake in the way they conceived XOne, trying to recover the situation with price cut after price cut plus free games into Bundle, instead of believing in their product.
Shame on you MS.

What's baseless about sony losing money hand over fist? That is a fact people.
But that other thread just said that the PS4 is doomed.
The press should finally make up its mind.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
