I thought it might be interesting just to have an anecdotal sales thread.  Tell us what you see people buying when in stores, how many of different consoles you see on shelves, what your friends and family are getting etc.

Maybe even some people who work in stores that sell consoles can tell us something? Also any kind of tweets that you see with pics regarding stock, such as that Wario guy, would be interesting to see

For instance, I was walking back from my local high street today and a group of three guys had a PS4 from Computer Exchange (I could see the logo through the bag).  I can therefore say that at least one PS4 has been sold in my local area this morning.  Pretty interesting stuff I'm sure you will agree

I saw a overweight gentleman purchase an Xbox One assassin's creed bundle at my local mall/ shopping complex.

I saw a black family buying an Xbox One Assassin's creed bundle at my local Kmart. They even got an extra controller.

Edit: They were actually choosing between PS4 and Xbox One and ended up saying "Well I'll get the one with the game". 

Not so sure in my country, because we don't have a big holiday beside Ramadan. But most of time PS3 and Wii is still big in my country. While most of people who buy current gen console they bought PS4 and handled 3DS and PSP. And This month and December i think in my country it will not have a big impact on South East Asia Market.

actually when I was at BestBuy they were selling Xbox Ones and they took the wii u section out.

Xbox one had two shelves, three consoles to try. Ps4 had one shelf, one console to try. Could not find wii u (maybe it was sharing with 3ds or something?). This was before the xbox one price drop just so you know
