That's not how it works. Green arrow means it has steady sales Red Arrow means it's has no sales or a very low number. A product can still drop down the list even if it has a green arrow.
PlayStation 4 Last of Us Bundle - US $379.99 (NewEgg via Ebay)

I didn't even know this Bundle existed. The box looks amazing, better than the GTA one even.
Also why NewEgg does this sales via Ebay?

Of course it can, if it was below the current position 24 hours ago. Even out of stock products, not selling 1 unit for hours and falling off the charts can still be green if 24 hours ago they were below that position.. it happens a lot with sudden lightning deals.

Looks like our theories of less X1 bundles being stock are coming true. The PS4 bundle is still #1 with the green arrow.

It doesn't go off a 24 hour cycle it's hourly. The XB1 bundle dropped to 3rd minutes after the arrow went from green to red.

Damn, when did that go up? Cause it's already sold over 1,000.

Game stop is a big physical retailer. And I suspect the online chart is for online sales only. Any way, all those chartz don´t feel accurated. Or do you belive there are people buying the vanila $399 PS4 on any of those sites? Once again we will have to waite NPD report or MSONY claiming some milestone next week. Other than that we have only anedoctal evidences from retailers over the USA and blackbox online charts that no one knows exactly how they work. Either way it dosen´t "feel" to me that either console did that great this BF. De facto the XOne got only a $20 discount from the begining of the month and $399 for the "best value" for the PS4 is still to much for mass market apeal (especialy bundled with two last generation last year remastered). |
Oh, I got it. When the XBO is in front, let's trust the sales charts. When the PS4 is ahead, let's find ways they aren't accurate. That about sum it up?
Best Buy, the only place the XBO is ahead hourly, is the only one that seems to not have been updated recently. And as others have pointed out, people who are buying the PS4 by itself are probably just parents/grandparents looking at family member's Wished For lists.
