The money you save on these "deals" on black friday you pay back at least twice over the rest of the year.

Amazon is having their "Countdown to Black Friday Deal Week" sale. I got an awesome tablet 16% off. Perhaps I might have gotten a better deal if I waited until the actual Black Friday, but I didn't really want to wait... :)

Be thankful. 

You meet only the worst people when you go out shopping during black friday.
I had to work black friday security once in the Air Force for the store on base. It's called AAFES (Army, and Air Force exchange) Navy is called NEX (Navy Exchange). We had to stop spouses and, military members from acting like total douches to each other. As soon as they saw the police, everyone was a little more cordial. Nothing worse than having to explain to your commander why you threw a retiree to the ground for some crap.

Black Friday deals aren't even the best deals, just the most well advertised with "doorbusters" to entice people into trampling each other to death for the amusement of the jaded.

I'm in a country where Social Media is rampant. Nintendo should advertise Miiverse so that they can get more sales here.

I think there's Cyber Monday which is a Black Friday for online retailers world wide on Monday (duh).
