The concepts of spraying ink and being able to move around it or jump to it from any distance reminds me of Portal 2's white gel levels. Anyone else think it's pretty similar?

There certainly seems to be a lot of things going on apart from the whole "painting and squiding"! Everytime I see this game, I am getting more and more interested, I hope they show more of it

I got more of a of a Super Mario Galaxy vibe from it.... also not a bad thing

I got a "this game will be great" vibe from it.

These may be the only 2 FPS actually trying to be unique, so yeah, kind of the same vibe.

Thankfully no, the white gel levels were my least favourite except for lemons and well Splatoon isn't first person.

I thought so, too when I saw it. Definitely more hyped now that I know there's at least a campaign. I really hope it takes off to the point where the squid girl becomes a Super Smash character next iteration. :)
