Perfect candidate would be Dragon Ball. The series has been sucking lately, so a version based off Dynasty Warriors would be par for the course. It's one of the few super popular anime series that also haven't had a Musou game.

Mushroom Warriors doesn't sound like Mario.

Err... im good with Dynasty Warriors tbh.

Mnementh made a good point though. There sure are alot of characters to draw from on the Fire emblem franchise. Seems to fit perfectly.
