I want to make a bet saying the next multi game direct will announce release dates for mario maker, yoshi wholly world, and mario party 10

You're probably right; I'd be more worried that the dates they give will be later than they should be.

yoshi usually launches in march so I expect that

mario maker and party should launch april-juneish

But i believe it will be

febuary-kirby

march yoshi

april- mario party

may-splatoon

june- mario maker

august- devils third

september- xeno x

october- e3 game/star fox

november- zelda

december-e3 game

I still believe there wont be a drought

I would move Mario Maker to July; June is a sort of doldrums usually, July just feels like a safer bet. Otherwise, that seems entirely plausible.

With Yoshi having been in the oven since 2012, Mario Maker the kind of game that should take a couple of months to make, and Fatal Frame 5 sitting completed in the wings, there is no excuse for droughts next year. That doesn't mean they won't happen, but if they do it will solely down to staggering incompetence from Nintendo.

Idk Mario Maker might be quite a bit more ambitious than ur making it out to be, it's been a common trend lately for Nintendo to announce a game that looks decent/good then as it gets closer to release it begins to look better and better. 3D World, MK8, Smash U are all good examples of this, hell Splatoon & Kirby's new trailers make these games look much better than they did at E3, the same could happen to Mario Maker in its next trailer.

It's a very simple project; take a bunch of existing assets and make a user-friendly level builder for them. If they can't manage that by Q1 2015 then their production pipeline is hopelessly broken.

That's my main reason for not being too worried for 2015.  They have a lot of options and ways to pad their count.  2016 worries me more.  I mean, I think SMTxFE will probably land there with Star Fox and *maybe* Devil's Third.  I think Metroid Prime 4 will be announced in 2015 and be their 2016 anchor title of a sort with support from an HD remake of some sort (Mario Galaxy 1+2 in tandem with a Mario Galaxy 3 announcement maybe; or perhaps a Metroid Prime Trilogy (that one is wishful thinking more so than the first one :P ).  Other than that, not sure.  F-Zero could pop up but that's still a thin schedule and a lot of that is guesswork.   It will be interesting; maybe we will see another garage project like Splatoon at next year's E3?

Nintendo often don't reveal games until they're like 6-12 months out, so the fact that we don't know many of their 2016 titles isn't a cause for concern yet, at least in my view. If E3 2015 passes and 2016 still looks barren, then I'll get worried.

There won´t be droughts this year.
