Several articles have made me look up some SharePlay features, and this is what I found out:

Germany

•     German PSN account holders can only use Share Play with other German PSN account holders.
•     The visitor is required to input a German ID number before joining host’s Share Play session if the game is 16+.

Other limitations (full info in the link provided):

Share Play cannot be used:

•     If the game which you want to share is not available in the PS store of your visitor’s country.
•     If the Parental Control Level of the game which you want to share doesn’t match the visitor’s Parental Control Level setting.
•     If the visitor’s age is lower than the game’s age rating on the PS Store.

I guess the main reason is Germany's strict censorship policies, which in the past have caused some games to be heavily edited, or even completely banned (Dead Rising comes to mind...)

That's a shame, its sounds great and all

that is a bit disappointing, although I probably wouldn't have noticed that restriction without this article as the people I share play with/plan to share play with in the future are located here in Germany aswell

The rules makes sense due to ratings of games. Not sure on the 'availability in the store' one though, that's a little confusing.... unless because if it's banned in a certain country...so okay, does make sense.

That's bad for German players. And I thought cenorship of video games in my region was bad. At least violent games aren't banned here as long there's no sexual/religious content.

As long as I can play with people that aren't from Norway. If not my choices will be severely limited..

that is a damn shame. I guess some of these limitations were bound to happen, but it's still pretty crappy.

When I see these restrictions pop up. From any location. I just keep thinking Share play is a waste of time. I have a close friend who lives in Australia. I have to worry that any game can be blocked with this bs? Just because a money reason shit. I'd end up going back to what I do, and jsut use my haup streaming box. That be a total waste of him buying a PS4 and a PS+ sub. All I want is to stream without my PC being on to a my friend only. Without any BS. And to play online, without the region BS that DC games pulled on us. Which is why he sold his PS4 in the first place.
