that is a damn shame. I guess some of these limitations were bound to happen, but it's still pretty crappy.

These laws are the type that shouldn't exsist. What do they accomplish, except interfer with the consumers usage.

Ahh. Im not really surprised considering the regulations already in place in germany.

Yeah. How come only the USA is smart enough to allow amazing things like heavy machine guns,  grenades,  c4 or arrillery to be purchased freely? Silly joke countries who makes stupid mistakes of limiting choices for the peasants who can clearly handle unlimited responsibilites without guidelines just fine.

Yet the United States is ranked 111 of 218 in world murder rates.

60% of all gun related deaths in the United States are suicides. 3% are accidental. 34% are murder.

There are 14 countries ahead of the United States in firearm-related homicide rates. And most of them have WAY less firearms in their countries.

I was not passing judgement on the law and what it does to people, was just stating its existence and the need to obey it. Sony can't ignore laws because they are not above them. About the content of the law, I'm completely against content censorship, and because that I would never create a German psn, xbl or Nintendo account if I was living there. If people want to use this service or other things outside this laws, create a UK account.

All of which is in no way related to the topic at hand.

If you wish to discuss politics, please take your guns over to the appropriate subforum.

I didn't make this topic to turn it into a global crime rate discussion, but to inform about SharePlay.

Poor Germany. Restrictions like this suck ass
