It's been a brilliant update with a couple of niggles, and most of those niggles can be sorted out quite easily. Shareplay is incredible, Twitch is slick and much improved, the Youtube app is great and all the other improvements are much appreciated.

Happened to me yesterday...The first problem I've had with my console after almost a full year.

Just got caught hanging while booting up, blue screen and could do nothing about it. Luckily, easy fix is to disconnect the power cable, wait about a minute, plug it back in and start. Booted fine, and have no problems since...

...but it sure did scare me for a moment. Hopefully they fix all the bugs soon, eagerly awaiting for Version 2.01 --- stability patch...

All functionality works on my console without issues! Biggest disaster ever!

Same thing happened for my brothers PS4.  He hasn't had it repeat yet, but it has only been a couple of days.

I havent had any issues at all.

I wonder if this was the Xbox One having these problems would this thread already be 10+ pages haha Anyways! My co worker had this problem and i told him to try unplugging it and waiting a few mins and restarting the console and his has been working fine ever since. Let's just hope they hurry with a quick fix update to correct the bug.

This has happened to me one time, and it was the very first time I put it in Rest mode after updating. The next day, I hit the PS button on my controller and nothing happened. After I unplugged the PS4 to get it started, I haven't had an issue since

What new rest mode? Never even notice, all normal for me.

It has happen to me once so far. Pretty annoying but not disastrous as that article claims.
