ps4 has more retail games, more digital games and more exclusives(true exclusives)

Xb1 has a great line up but they don't have more games.

Lots of Japanese stuff I assume? I'm not aware of any third party retailer PS4 exclusives.

And XB1 has more exclusives on shelves, unless you wanna help me out and tell me what PS4 has?

There fixed that for ya. Despite MS's attempts to change the definition of exclusive the game isn't actually exclusive if it appears on another console or platform..

That doesn't take into account indies like resogun. Now you could argue that TLOU:R isn't exaclty exclusive except that much like the MCC you can't get it and all it's content on the previous console so I'll count MCC towards Xb1's total exclusives but it's not out yet. As far as exclusives out now, and retail games out(3rd party and non exclusive) ps4 has more.

Nah, they're exclusives (not on PS4) and the OP has loads to chose from to fill his shelves!!!

I certainly wouldn't assume he has a 360 or PC (or wants to buy them on there anyway) so I would definitely reccomend Forza Horizon 2, Titanfall, Dead Rising 3 and Project Spark (There is this great level called LittleBigPlanIt )

As far as retail goes you are missing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Dynasty Warriors 8 Extreme legends Samurai Warriors 4 Natural Docturine Which puts ps4 at 11 retail and Xb1 with 10.

So we count games like Zoo Tycoon, Project Spark and Killer Instinct on XBO but we don't count Resogun, Towerfall Ascension, Transistor, Infamous First Light,  Rogue Legacy, War Thunder, ...., because they're only PSN games and not  sold at retail???, That's really unfair. Those ps4 games are indies or f2p, but are really good too.

Thought it's a shame they never did DLC.

Well, yes, because if you look at the guys original post he was talking the OP having exclusives on his shelf. Last I checked you couldn't put digital games on shelves.

But you are right, XB1 has more classic retail games :)
