If it does happen, and you are kind of jumping the gun a bit considering, then okay. I don't think Sony is toooo worried, as they were probably expecting to have the same super uphill battle the PS3 did last generation. Being able to maintain parity, or even slightly below the Xbox numbers in the U.S., probably still counts as a win for them, given all the other markets are pretty much in the bag. Still, it will be interesting to see how they respond, it's possible they will want to try and maintain the US leadership, in which case we might see some more aggressive deals and marketing pop up next year.
And seriously Drill, be a little more conscientious on your math. =P Doesn't help your case when you are willfully comparing the rounded-up-to-10 million shipped Xbox One units to the PS4's sold-to-customers number, and decide to round downthe gap from 2.6 to 2. -_-
