Looking at the Most Wished for in the US on Amazon PS4 is number 1, with Smash for 3ds 2nd and Smash for Wii U 3rd, MCC takes 4th and the next two spots are the kinect-less XB1 and then the ACU bundle:

In the 2014 Best Sellers chart PSN cards hold the top 3 with PS4 sitting at 4th, XB1 doesn't come into the chart until number 54:

Black Friday is all about fulfilling what people's Presents will be or people have been holding out, saving up their money to buy the crazy deals, so they'll be getting what they wish for, PS4 is the highest on that list according to Amazon.
Black Friday will probably sell more consoles than any other week.
The only reason that PS4 was outsold for the December NPD last year was because of supply shortages, that clearly won't be an issue this time, but PS4 did win last years NPD.

November 18th is when GTAV comes out, that will move way more units on PS4 than Xbox One.

IMO PS4 will win this month's NPD no problem.

Not a chance.

Xone only get this week, with 100k more than ps4.

Next week, both will sell probably the same after the Xone drop sales, so 160k for both.

And after the next week...it's Black Friday -> Ps4+ GTA5 + TLOUr + Marketing only on ps4 for Gta5 and Far cry 4 + Lbp3.

Ps4 will sell A LOT here, way much than Xone, i guess on a 1/1.8 ratio. And the last week, ps4 will still be ahead a bit.


In short, in november ps4 will be first (90% chances), but Ms will still have great sales, because of the first week + BF.

besides price and online superiority MS will have the SW push for Nov. with there big franchise Halo, the MCC collection releases this month all the past halo games not just rezed up but fully remastered the effort put into this should defiantly warrant a repaly and fresh experience.  along with halo COD AW releases this will be the first must have next gen game and MS gets a exclusive bundle with a massive 1TB HDD and special themed consoleand  dont forget the timed DLC.  next up Is AC and this one will have graphic parity for both systems giving no reason to buy on the competitors console along with a bundle being available for only $350 which gets you a XB1 AC Unity and last yrs black flag a fantastic AC game

MS has spoke with the $50 cut, Halo MCC, multiple bundles, and im sure there BF deals will outdo Sonys the choice is clear for Nov. the choice is XB1

While looking more and more likely the PS4 isn't out yet. Its not being hurt by X1 sales, we need to see the results for Nov 18 which I'm guessing will see a significant PS4 boost and if Black Friday is a win for the PS4 it could still take November. This is definitely looking like X1s best chance to finally win a single month in one market though lol. 1 out of 12 isn't bad right?
