You aren't the only one, and it's perfectly logical to feel it is a complete ripoff. Especially when the developer admitted recently a lot of it is already on the disc.

Personally, I hate myself for shelling out on the digital guardian edition ahead of time on this one. I have absolutely no desire left to play this game or it's rip off "expansions."

Exactly how I feel, I bought the Digital guardian edition too, I was expecting so much more out of Destiny and the expansion, 20 dollars for stuff that should be free in a update. *sigh* oh well at least there's Halo to look forward to in a couple of weeks. 

I got burned a couple of times on Season Passes during last-gen, and decided never to fall for that trick again...

It sounds tempting when they market it, but paying in advance to save a couple of dollars is not that big of a saving when you ultimately get stuck with sub-par content...

Sony still getting exclusive Destiny DLC, huh.

If I'm not wrong the deal is until fall 2015.

It is bullshit but it is like it is... MS have the CoD deal and Sony the Destiny deal.

$20 to get $60 worth out of your $60 purchase.

Difference between this deal and the CoD deal is you pay $15 for a map pack on CoD regardless of platform and you get the same content. You pay $20 for this "expansion pack" on Destiny and you're paying the same price for less content on Xbox One. It's one peg lower on the shitty DLC scale than the CoD deal.

And yeah I have never ever bought a season pass and never will. In fact when a company announces season pass shit, 9 times out of 10 I avoid the game altogether. And 9 times out of those 10 it turns out I make the right decision. Unfortunately this means I probably never play a Forza again. Fucking shenanigans out the ass with that DLC.
