Good point. I'd forgotten how many Vitas were moved due primarily or in part to Remote Play. It's a crucial feature and a proven system seller.
There's a difference between handhelds and tablets. There is a usability issue when trying to play on tablets vs. a handheld. Nintendo has been trying to perfect this style of play since the 1970's and they're still going strong. If they do make a handheld, I hope they don't think it will be a huge hit. Power doesn't mean thing. Must I mention Sega Game Gear and Atari Lynx? Waaay better in terms of everything Gameboy had but it didn't have games.
