It's useful I guess, but not a great feature, and definitely not the best feature though.

So it's online couch co-op? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of local multiplayer? To have everyone in the same physical space? I guess if you want to play an offline-only game, like Towerfall, with your buddies online, I can see its usefulness. But otherwise, I'd rather just play online modes with my friends online and offline modes with my friends in my apartment.

I don't agree. I think it will drastically increase the sales of PS4 sales. It's also a system seller which in turn drives up salees of games. |
Are you kidding me? None of my friends want to buy games like COD anymore, only 3 out 12 will buy it, because all the others will be share playing. And these guys love FPS games!

Bet with Xander XT:
I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

No, I'm not kidding, I think you're wrong. Thousands and thousands of people don't buy games because they haven't even heard of them (now that's sorted); thousands and thousands of people don't buy games because they're not in the genre they prefer (now that's sorted); thousands and thousands of people refuse to take a risk on a game because it didn't get great reviews (now that's sorted); and thousands and thousands of people only play casually and aren't really heavily into online gaming, and so wouldn't purchase a game which leans heavily towards online because they're not sure they would enjoy it (now that's sorted).
The PS5 Exists.

lol @ people will stop buying games because they can just share play them.
right. because their friends are going to keep being friends if they try to freeload through a whole game every time a new one is released.
like someone is going to sit there initiating a connection every hour on a brand new game so someone else can play it, and not be like "if you wanna play it go buy it".
this will at best end up like "hey dude mind if i try out ____? or" im stuck on this trophy can you get it for me? "
So you have to reconnect every hour, but you can do that time and time again?
If so, my friend owns FIFA, but I do not. Could I join up, play a match, then afterwards join up again and play another match, doing this time and time again to enjoy some online play without ever needing FIFA?
Same goes for me owning MLB The Show while he does not.
If what I said it true then this feature is incredible.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Yes, that's what you can do. The only drawback is you won't be able to earn trophies on his console, you won't be able to save your progress on his console and it is likely all games will run at 720p. I think Sony have got this whole thing spot on. There's an incentive to play with a friend for anyone on the fence or not interested in buying a certain game, and there's an incentive for people to then go out and buy the game if they like it.

Well, it has it's advantages, and I think it will help sell games. As someone who's considering getting a PS4 it worries me that the games I don't want my kids to play, they will be able to play if their friends have them. I hope they have some form of control in place for that.
