Was 50 ish on alpha and 80 ish on beta for the record.
I tend to break the game a lot.

The ending answered nothing and every race supposedly on the same side fight eachother rather than you. Its just not well thought out. They introduced unbalanced things then remove them and the multiplayer was unbalanced. I liked it but it was dissapointing it was a good 25 hours with friends on strikes. |
I disagree.
The story itself was weak, the missions are fun in themselves. For instance, Titanfall was reviewed better and it did not even have a story mode.
The raid alone is worth the price of admission. That 1st clear was exilating. And since I seem to run with a different group each time each clear feels very different.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
lol how can a raid clear feel different when there's only one way to clear each stage and the spawns are all exactly the same?
The raid is well designed in some areas, and just tedious design with forced teamwork in others so they could justify not adding matchmaking into it. The last time I did the raid me and 5 complete strangers plowed through it in like 30 minutes with almost no communication, and a few of the guys only dying on the opening section with the plates. It's time they added some matchmaking. They believe they create something where teamwork and communication is required, a week later everyone knows whats up and it's easy.
Just another area where they fuck things up misreading the game and the community.

I said i liked the missions and had fun with friends on raids, i wouldnt of played it for 25 hours if it wasnt fun. But the story just ruined if for me. Titanfall did its multiplayer well. At the start destiny did its multiplayer ok. It was full of Ok and average things with some great gunplay.
Its story was bad, I am not even sure you can call it a story. No character development what so ever, plot holes galore and questions for miles on end is just something i didnt expect from bungie. Supporting characters might aswell be nonexistent. I usually only play games for the story.
Titanfall to me should of scored less than destiny, but it did what it did better than destiny. I liked destiny more than titanfall x10 and i will not be buying its sequal but i will definitely purchase destiny's.

Yeah I think I hit 120 playing with my brothers. Would have been 1/5 of that had they not been playing. Can't imagine playing much longer unless you have multiple characters. I hear people in the raid talking about how they have 3 or 4 characters just for duplicate stuff... makes no sense to me.

key point is different people. some weeks I clear it with a good group and we faceroll it, sometime I roll with some average players and we have to make up strategies as we go to beat certain elements.
To add, I now have 3 character who can raid. So I did it 3 times this week. each time felt different.
