The only real fact is that we do not have the same "old testament" since there are dozens of versions with completely different translations in history some with new passages and some with entire sections removed. So no it's not enough becuase again history and science proves there are not only inconsistancies in a single version but there are also inconsistancies between multiple versions that claim to be "word for word" translations. http://sanctusvesania.hubpages.com/hub/Contradictions-Between-Different-Versions-of-the-Bible

1. What other version of the OT?

2. Like the website said, "mankind has completely messed around with God's Word."

Very interesting. I use the NIV (and NKJV). Now I know a few specific examples of how the NWT changes the Bible. My friend is a Jehovah's Witness, so he uses that one.

Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).

Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

1. Hundreds would be a fair estimate.  Pick a language, pick a country the versions will have inconsistencies and differences. Even pick a religious sect in the south of the US for example. Pick two different churches and they will have differing versions of the old testament. It's not exactly a secret either and is something you are tought if you train to become a priest.

For the record I do not have faith in the established churches, that doesn't mean I don't have faith in God, nor does it mean I do not love or respect those that are a part of those churches. They just have a very hard job infront of them. I was considering becoming a priest myself in my early 20's. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my unckle Mark that is currently in Afghanistan helping soldiers. http://www.emeraldislepr.com/clients/posh/news-events/weekly-news-september-6-2011/ http://www.sacredheartusa.org/news-events/weekly-news-february-17-2014/ I am very proud of him and the work he does even tho I do not agree with the church.

I'm not the only one tho, The man in this video shows and outlines a lot of the problems I had with it myself, check his other videos they are interesting and informative. Again unlike him I do believe in God, I simply do not believe in the church. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1q3GiTJzfM *Edit also this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFurLHRWo64

As I said tho faith isn't simply believe what you are told, but believing you are given the tools to find real truth for yourself.

That is also interesting.  Maybe the KJV does translate some words better.  I do know that my pastor has given examples of things that were translated better in the more modern translations.

How different are they would be the better question.

Again as I said before some sections are missing, other ones added, some simply completely changed in tone to fit what ever their needs.
