There have been many games released this decade, and some of them are masterpieces. Here are the games I like most from each genre in 2010's:

 

First-Person Shooter: BioShock: Infinite

 

Third-Person Shooter: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

 

Hack N Slash: God Of War III

 

Simulation Racing: Gran Turismo 6

 

Arcade Racing: Need For Speed: Most Wanted

 

Survival Horror: The Last Of Us

 

Stealth Shooter: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

 

Western RPG: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

 

Open-World Sandbox: Grand Theft Auto V

I can't remember that far back for all games I bought, though I was a casual then. So basically I could be off by 1-2 years (<2010) for some for these lol.

But I think these were it....

Lord of the Rings Conquest PC

LORT Conquest DS - one of them was in that year.


Stronghold Legends 2 Deluxe.

 

Oh...My fav Genre is ADVENTURE.

I think i remember my Favorite genre is first person shooter(Not all 2010's games) just Far cry 3 Blood dragon, i know... I'm a retro gamer lol.

I cant decide between DKCTF or rayman legends.

And where is the Figther game?

You can add Flyght simulator category too.

How come RTS isn't in there yet TPS and FPS are?, I know there's the "other" option but I believe RTS deserves to be up there like the rest since it's not a sub genre or anything less.

2010 I'd say was diverse for me since I played a game from almost each genre like:

Fable III-RPG (open world)
Command & Conquer 4-RTS
Red Dead Redemption-Action Adventure
Sims III-Simulation
Star Wars The Force Unleashed II- Action platformer
Rock Band III-Musical
Fist of the North Star Kens Rage-Beat 'em up
Call of Duty Black ops-FPS
Battlefield Bad Company 2-FPS
Starcraft II-RTS
Dead Rising 2-Open World Survival
Darksiders-Hack n' slash
Scott Pilgrim the game-Beat 'em up
Aliens VS Predator-FPS
Supreme Commander 2-RTS
Crackdown 2-3rd Person
Transformers War for Cybertron-3rd Person
Just Cause 2-Action Adventure
Pokemon HG/SS-RPG

I'd say 2010 was a really great year for me but I can't really decide which game of each genre though, I'm more a fence sitter when it comes to choices like this, I like them all too much.

Also this is pretty handy for those that want to confirm games released in 2010 for listing, I wish they had genre data placed next to them but I'm not really fussed about opening the links in another tab to find what genre is specified.
