I can't even begin to tell you how many people till this day tell me that MS is using the Kinect to watch people or the NSA is watching people through the kinect. People seriously believe it. I'm not saying it hasn't,can't or will never happen just that I honestly wouldn't care. If the X1 was the more powerful system I would have got it instead of the PS4. If they were the same and same price would have stayed with Xbox because I had a 360 and don't want ot lose my achivements.

Not to put on my tin foil hat, but MSN messenger was on the list of applications that NSA used to spy on people, which is a Microsoft app and has a webcam function. A console would seem less interesting than a computer though, but they already have the cooperation of Microsoft, and an additional camera/mic in the living room gives you more coverage of the house I guess.

I don't think that tin foil hat thinking at all at this point. The NSA can and clearly will hack into anything to try and gather more data on people this has been proven.  A few years ago sure that would have been a tin foil topic now it's pretty much expected that they do this. I'm just saying I wouldn't base my console choice on that because well I can just disconnect it.

Well, MS doesn't even try outside UK and NA since MS seems to think that this is the world so no wonder...I said it already often enough, MS and their efforts are a joke everywhere else and the only reasons the 360 sold at least a little bit better in other countries was the much earlier release as PS3 and the much lower price when PS3 released. That helped to sell some 360s over the whole lifespan since many also buy a console when friends own the same even after years.

But crazy that even in a bad time Spain has right now, people still seem to have always enough money for stuff like that^^

well, in Spain there is something like good weather and all so that there are less people who need a console or TV shows ;) 

Also obviously bad economy so that I find the numbers not too bad.

Now, One will be very very lucky to even reach 5M in Europe and 100k in Spain

Exactly. They are going to face major contractions in the US and UK, and their install base in Europe and ROW is going to basically dissappear. It's why I don't see it hitting 50 million. At best it'll do 40 million lifetime.
