I want this game but it still doesn't justify me getting a Wii U at all. I am not a fan of Mario or Zelda or any Nintendo games. I have the Wii but I bought it when the price was like $100+ so I could play some of the game that is not Nintendo games. Their games doesn't appeal to me in any way. So basically, I will get a Wii U but not until it drop the price to $100+. So for now, Nintendo fans, enjoy this awesome game.

For those surprised by the high praise, the 360 bayo received high praise too. It has a 90 on metacritic.

I can't tell if you're kidding or not.  I mean Kratos and his big schlong are doing well critically while other games featuring hot chicks (Golden Axe, X Blades, Onechanbara) score in the toilet.  I think Bayonetta got the kind of scores it deserved.

I remember when I first saw the trailer for the first Bayonetta.  I made a thread on this site saying the game looked like poop.  Then, I played it.  The game didn't look like poop anymore.  It made a believer out of me!

Thanks. :) This sentiment always confuses me though, Nintendo has an extremely broad variety of first-party games. Saying you don't like Nintendo games is a bit like saying you don't like books published by Random House, or you don't like Paramount movies. It's a bit nonsensical to me. It's certainly possible that someone could play and be uninterested in each Nintendo franchise or developer individually, but to dismiss them categorically by lumping all of their IP together is a bit short-sighted.
