Holiday boosts are just temporary and you'll need more than that to help a two year old game ...
NSMBU legs are dead in the tracks as far as anyone's concerned. This game will have suffered a drop of over 60% decline compared to last year's sales and the same will hold true for next year's game sales.
This game will be very lucky to reach 5 million units by the end of next year ...

No it doesnt hold true like at all. Look up alot of the nintendo game sales with 3-5 years. It'll show several years have just close sales as the last. 5mil will hit 100% next year.
Ok lets look at sales...
2012 1,285,059
2013 2,222,404
2014 704,407 (this will no doubt be over 1.1mil by years end
Total 4,211,870 (so thats 4.6mil)
My prediction
2015: 750k
2016: 550k
2017: 500k
2018: 300k
Over 6.7mil :0

That's stretching it when it's clear that the current weekly ratio is 7:1 between the console and game sales ...

Not Wii Sports widely, but still more than a lot of bundles.
Nearly 2/3 of Wii U owners have NSMBU.

@Bold Really ? How do you explain this year's massive decline for games such as Nintendo Land, NSLU, WII party U and Pikmin 3 ? Using last generation data to extrapolate this generation's game sales curve for the WII U doesn't make your case any convincing ...
You expect me to believe that NSMBU will move 400 000 more units before the end of the year ?!
Try 200K for the rest of the year ...

Nintendo Land, NSLU, WII party U and Pikmin 3 =/= NSMBU bro, look at lst gen sales and see how legs stay great throughout a console life cycle.
Also, yes at bold most certainly actually.Only way is if a new 2D mario comes out but i doubt that!
