Forums - Gaming - Biggest Disappointment of the Year?

What game was the biggest disappointment?

Destiny 244 44.36%

Watchdogs 109 19.82%

Titanfall 99 18.00%

AC Unity 900p 36 6.55%

Driveclub 61 11.09%

Total:549

Watch Dogs and the emphasis on resolution.

The.story wasn't too bad but had some over cliche moments. Just seemed really unpolished also, even though it was delayed, was it 6 months?

It's sending the gaming companies the wrong ideas IMO. They'll care less about gameplay and content and.focus.more on resolution soon. As a whole community, we'll complain. Seems to be an increasing trend among us also.

Games overall were ok though.

Driveclub is very underwhelming.

My 8th gen collection

I can't say Hyrule Warriors, Destiny or Watch-Dogs since I haven't played them so............. none!

Personally:

Driveclub was not hyped that much and if their was hype it was because of GIFS with amazing visuals and the game delivered on that front, it is just a disappointment because the game was delayed and normally it would mean Driveclub became a better game but still got mediocre reception.

Titanfall is a game that in my opinion did everything what it was hyped for, an MP shooter where you as player can do parkours and fight in Titans with emotional commentator... The sp was bad but their was no hype for it...Maybe disappointing because people thought it would sell more? (still I think around 2 million sales on Xone is certainly not bad)..

Watchdogs got a lot of hype but the biggest disappointment of that game was the downgrade in graphics? For the rest it did what people expect?

Destiny is of the list my biggest disappointment because it was so hyped and in the end expectations of many were destroyed... As a fan of Halo Reach a 4 year old game where you can create your own MP maps/gametypes, where you have space battle, can buy the item you want....And then see how Destiny doesn't have it is so sad... The game sold millions based on hype and expectations and not on quality, the worst part is that it will be an example for others... so many great studios and games are closed forever like clover studios/Pandemic/Ensemble studios/sony's wipeout studios because they were stupid in spending money on the quailty of their games and not so much on marketing..

Strike suit zero is not on the list but is my personal biggest dissapointment because I was so looking forward to a great space sim like game and I felt that everything was wrong it..

I really enjoyed Watchdogs. It was pretty much what I expected, and if I had more free time I'd probably still be playing it.

So for me, I'd say Destiny. I really expected it to be the next BIG thing, instead of just the next GOOD thing.

Have no played any of them, and dont intend to for a long while, but from that list probably Watchdogs; I allowed some hype to affect my better judgement.

Didnt expect much from them all though.

I'd say Titanfall. It didn't set the world on fire like pre-launch would've had you belive.

WATCH_DOGS, and I didn't even play the game.

Destiny, Watch Dogs, and Titanfall.

For me Destiny even though I have logged 57 hours. I just expected it to the best the greatest game of all time.

Watch_Dogs was extremely disappointing as well. Loved the hacking elements but the story + graphic downgrade + limited innovation crushed my soul.
