Even with a Mega, Beedrill still sucks xD Hopefully they give him another stat bump so his mega passes 500 Base Points.
The flying stuff sounds pretty awesome though :D

Base Stats of 395 man...thats baaaaaaaad. But his Mega isn't terrible offensively (assuming most of the mega points are dumped into attack and speed), especially with his mega ability.
Ignoring the Mega though, Beedrill is worse in every way than Venomoth who has the same typing. Venomoth has better base stats in almost every category, and Bug/Poison has a better Special movepool than Physical movepool. I'd even say Venomoth's abilities are better than Beedrill's.
Of course the Mega evolution pretty much changes all of that though...His Mega is slightly better than Venemoth, but the fact that using Mega Beedrill would prevent you from using any other Megas makes him worthless in PvP (everything is easy in PvE).
Scolipede is even better than Venomoth and is a physical attacker like Beedrill. I would say that Scolipede is better than even Mega Beedrill.
tldr - Beedrill still sucks

I know that Megas are not going away so it can't hurt to ask for the ones that I want especially since Gen 3 was my favorite Gen, I mean Mega Audino lol.
Both Megas are really awesome, Mega Pidgeot is so godly.

Its the same as complaining about ivs/evs, Dark/Steel type, fairy type, Special Stat Split (gen 2), Moves split, etc. If you dont like it, its too bad cuz its an evolution to the mechanics which they do every gen.
Im surprised actually that you thought there was a chance of it being XY exclusive XD

I didn't think that, I hoped that. I knew deep inside that they would carry this terrible "mechanic" over, but I hoped for the best.
