Forums - Sales - WW HW for week ending October 4th, X1 comes close but couldn't pass PS4. China release + FH2. SW for USA and UK

Wow, PS4 still in front even with the XBOX1 China launch. Still a very very impressive number for Microsoft though! Even if they manage to maintain a 90,000 baseline until the next big hit(Halo:MCC) that will be good. Poor Wii U, it has gone back to mid 40,000 baseline... And people were thinking it would come in second place.. No chance of that. Xbox1 will outsell the Wii U in total sales in a year or two. Well done to both Sony and Microsoft.

Still impressed with how the PS3 continues to perform admirably at this stage of its' lifecycle. As I have said before it may not be the PS2 but after a rocky start it has jad a hell of a run since then. Good numbers for the Xbox One and the PS4 remains a force. WiiU not looking good at all. Smash Bros. cannot come soon enough for the console.

Top 4 did very well. The Wii U won't really shine until Super Smash Bros.

PS3 still rocking on! Sony were smart not to drop support for it in it later years.

Wow. PS4 sales are amazing. Despite Xbox One China launch PS4 stayed at top.

PS3 above wiiu again...whats ps3 ww total now?

It's looking likely that the PS4 will end up being on top every single week this year.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

Looks like XBone is overtracked still.

179,000 is including china , the sales globaly without china would have been 79,000 and thats with all countries added which ends xbox fan boys saying wait till all countries are buying xbox1 and u will see it will beat ps4, or ps4 is only selling more because x1 hasnt launched in all countries  there only selling in 13 of them , which will prove they dont put dents in sales cause they only count for a small portion of sales , the heavy hitters are usa and europe .
