the X360 was very strong in the US and the UK last generation.
This generation the X1 is extremely competitive in those regions, and has even managed to outsell the PS4 a few times there,
most recently in the UK lats week.
Now in the US Ps4 sold only 20 % more
Which is by far something remarkable, and the tides can turn at any point.
In the UK the PS4 sold a bit more total, 35 % more than the X1.
The thing is X1 managed to double its sales in the US and UK by having a price cut and unbundling kinect.
Now in the UK thanks to Fiafa bundling it is outselling the PS4.
Now Microsoft's strategy last generation was to buy a lot of exclusives, they can easily replicate this strategy this generation and have X1 outsells PS4, even globally.
This generation is far from over and the next big exclusive will show this.
Based on my calculations if the X1 sales double in the US it only needs 16 weeks to match PS4 total sales
In the UK it only needs 17 weeks to do the same.
If Microsoft turns this arround, it needs very little time to catch up with the Ps4 in the US and the UK.
