toast at one point had very ridiculous preditions that had no chance of coming true.   these days his predictions are optomistic but not impossible either.   but,.. a reputation once earned takes a long time to change.

Selling more than Double its YTD would be record breaking for any console, these numbers are drastically off, or MS has a Massive price cut in coming that only toastboy knows about.

Saw title and though it was about the sales retailers will offer throughout the holidays.

Was disappointed.

Well, 2006 they shipped 3m 360's in the year, then 4.3m in the holiday Q.

So far they have shipped 1.6m~ + 1.5m~ (my prediction, feel free to debate it) so round the same.

I think Toast's numbers are a little high, but shipping 4.5m isn't out of the equation.

This will be interesting to track. Add in a Graph to track your progress. Maybe a tab to show how close or off you are and units needed to 5.5 million. This should be fun. I already got it facing the Wii U. so lets get some graphs going around here. .lOL

They can ship all they want, does not mean they will sale anywhere near all of it.

100% for holiday is normal


Just to make sure we are on the same page.  Is "holiday" October - December or November - December?

Shipping and selling are differnt things tho(as im sure you know), also in 2006 360 was horribly supply constrained early in the year as well. 

I think if they sell between 3-4M more for the rest of the year they will be fairly happy with that based on current performance.

Obviously would be awesome if it happened but seams a little high. Ur oct 4 numbers seam low. Think it will do 200k.
