I think at first people overcorrected and went for completely PC avatars but the guidelines do mention "You can still have a beautiful woman in a swimsuit, but ask yourself this: Is this picture's goal to get a sexual response from the viewer? If it is, then it's not VGChartz material. "

So from memory none of your recent avatars crossed that line. They were attractive men, yes, but not in any sort of sexual pose.

Tagging. I find this thread entertaining.

Somebody lifting their top up and giving a sexual look definitely crosses the line.  And I've seen a number of female ones too but dont know the usernames off the top of my head. 

And can I add Seece said he loves seeing people outraged so his intention is clear. He's picking sexual pics. I understand some mods do similar so I'm not expecting anyone to agree but that's my 2 cents.

I would like to see why SnesBoy who made this thread (gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=196948 ) in which he personally insulted, me, did not get permabanned or at least banned for a very long time instead of only 12 days. I do not appreciate these type of comments made on me as thay hurt my reputation on this site, which is still in it's infancy.

A week ago, he entered one of my threads and the first sentence he said was " You suck and your thread sucks". He then went on to write a paragraph on the thread's subject. I then reported him and replied that I did not appreciate his first comment and therefore I had reported him. He later on replied that I was much younger than him and went on to say that it is well known that my threads suck and that every old memeber avoids my threads. Leadfield than banned him until the 15th. That's practically the whole backstory.

He has already been banned for insulting me ounce. The first thing he did when he returned was to insult me some more.

SnesBoy was first moderated for the post in your thread, by Leadified, for 5 days. Then he made the thread you referenced, for which I banned him for 10 days or double the length. I discussed this with other mods, and we agreed it needed moderating so 10 days seemed fair.

SnesBoy has an extensive mod history, but he's a user who been here for a long time. We can't just "skip" straight to a permaban for such an infraction because that would fly in the face of the moderation system which we use. I understand that you're offended, but we aren't going to just jump straight to a permaban everytime someone is offended. The user will be moderated (quite severly in this case, skipping moderation steps), and that should be that. We have people insult others all the time, unfortunately. But we can't just permaban everyone who does that; else we'd have noone left on the site.

One piece of advice I will give you is that you should just stay away from the guy. Comments like this and also your comments on his wall will only make things worse and will likely cause more grief. If you want things to improve, then it would be a good plan to simply ignore it. Certainly do not antagonize him else he'll just come back (and if he does, tell us and we'll moderate him for it. This applies both ways though).
