Sorry for the vagueness so I'll explain in more detail here. The circumstances around Tiago's ban were not really normal. He has apparently asked for a perma ban numerous times before messaging me about it and it seemed like he was going out of his way to get himself banned by making a number of rule breaking posts and comments to eventually get perma banned that way. In any case I made an already confusing situation more confusing, so I'll rewrite his note to reflect the situation better.

Well that makes more sense.  Still don't understand why people need to permaban themselves if they don't want to be here anymore.  It isn't that hard to just log out and not log back in...

Jay was told specifically by ioi that he needed to stop his advertising of his site.

Jay continued to advertise through PMs, and more importantly try to recruit staff for his site through PMs.

Since he didn't listen and even went to the point of trying to siphon users from this site for his own competing venture, he was perma'd.
