Forums - Sony - Driveclub Review Thread - Meta 74

Can't say I am surprised really. Every preview of the game praised the graphics but we all knew the amount of cars, tracks and level of customization was going to be limited compared to Gran Turismo and Forza. It aimed to be a simulation but offered none of the options that have been standard and expected in racing simulation games for the last 15 years. GT7 better bring its A-game and soon.

Destructoid 7.5/10
Gamereactor UK 7/10
Dualshockers 8.5/10

And possibly the highest... from PlayStation Universe... 9.5/10.

My 79 metascore prediction was too high.

5/10 from Gamespot but they lost all credibility long ago.

is that because they gave a score that disagreed with the score you hope the game to get?

No I heard it from many, many other reviews or let's say better, from guys on forums who disagreed with Gamespot reviews. I quit reading Gamespot years ago, the site is a catastrophe in web design.

Fair enough.I disagreed with kevin van ord score for alien isolation because it was too hard or him lol.  I can't judge the game until i have played , so will wait till it comes to psn plus. Would to see if it even come close to forza horizon 2 which is a really good game.

Forza Horizon 2 sits at 86 with only 2 mixed reviews so I don't see it reaching it after the first reviews are out and what reviewers are criticizing sounds somewhat reasonable. Doesn't mean the game is fun, though

They always give retardedly low score for every game for the clicks, thats why.

Review score is totally irrelevant for me because I'm getting the psn+ version regardless. I was never going to actually buy the game. But I hope it's not a complete review bomb, and it looks like it will get reasonable reviews.

Ugh, this is reviewing about as expected. Massive delays, small lineup and generally mediocre. It's to be expected.

Imagine how bad it would have been without the delays :P

GamesRadar gave a 4/5:

Personally, I really like GR's reviews. They're always pretty honest. But reviews are ALL OVER THE PLACE, what the fuck? Seriously, a 5 from Gamespot and then 8.6 from GT?

That would be Polygon, for sure!

O the world we live in where a probable meta of around 75 is considered total dungshit, on a free game nonetheless.

exactly, totally agree with you . Can't complain it being free on ps either :). As long as the game is fun to play.
