Because the remaining active Wii gamers don't complain about lazy ports or recycled game engines with minimal improvements or the lack of multiplayer modes, they are glad for every release they still get for their system.

The Wii U gamers would find plenty reasons to complain, no matter what EA releases. The release of a WiiU version would probably cause more bad press for EA than a non-release. ;)
