Well I'll just say mine, even though I play PC too hehe.

My favorites are the M16 and MP5, depending on the situation...I can pick people off from pretty far with the M16 with the standard ironsight, grenade launcher, and additional bullet damage. And then it's great having the silencer on the MP5, UAV jammer, and better hip accuracy (since I often find I don't have time to look down the sights while running through buildings).

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I would really like 50 man online, but it would be a completely different experience to console games. While I assume that the maps are bigger, it must still be impossible to capture the headquaters with that many people

It's about the same...the headquarters gets captured pretty quickly, and then you've got an equal number of defense and offense, whether it's 10 or 50 people. Then the defense wears down as they get taken out, and pretty quickly the headquarters gets destroyed.

It gets pretty intense, it really tests your ability to stay alive, but also stay near the objective and defend it. It'd be much different with 10 people, though still fun I'm sure.

How about taking the discussion to the PC forum? I don't think anyone with the 360 version actually cares about the PC version.  This thread is about the Call of Duty 4 patch on Live.

My favorite gun is the M16. 3 round burst kill is awesome. I find there are a good quantity of snipers in the PC version depending on the map. My favorite game mode is 50 man team deathmatch in Crash or Winter Crash, but I also really like 50 man Headquarters.

I have found that most people use the M16, the LMG's also get alot of love. While i have found that the really good players use a Silenced MP5 with UAV jammer or the Scorpion, i have run into alot of guys that can take down whole teams with that shitty gun.

In most games you will find 1-2 players on each side using the sniper rifle, but sometimes you get into games of 9v9 where 5+ players are snipers on one team and it gets really brutal if they are good.

The M16 is insanely good on the PC version in headquarters, because you'll often find the defenders clumped around the area and a 3 round burst can kill 2 or even 3 people. And if you rapidly shoot you can clear a room with an M16 in seconds. Of course, that's also partly dependent on the accuracy of a mouse.

MP5 is nice too. I have a setup similar to Ben that I use on occasion. Usually in Headquarters.  The other setup I like is the dual primaries of an MP5 silenced and an M16.
