Forums - Sales - ps3 ww lifetime weekly sales comparison

The PS3 had really grow, but this comparison is wrong.
You cant compare USA+Jp (2007) against Eur+USA+JP (2008).

If you take out Eur 2008 numbers the real grow isnt 80-120 k but 10-50 k for week, what is really good too.

Predictions: 2008/2009

Wii 42-45 M / 71-75M

X360 24-26M / 38-40M
PS3 20-21 M / 30-34M

VERY good growth...

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Very good growth ...and it will receive another one once the big guns are out and the price gets cut again .Blu Ray being the new standar was one of the requirements and thats done .Now with some lower price and the big guns out it will make another leap forward .In Japan it would need to launch a new slimline version though ,japanese dont seem to like very much the actual design ...too big and bulky for them .

if you check last year WW numbers Others only had an impact for 2 weeks and then WW numbers went back to 60k with Other included..

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Wow, PS3 sold like shit last year. It could barely pull off 100k per week. It's amazing how far the console has come.

That's the difference price cuts and games make.

It will certainly be 1.5 x better than last year, which would leave it on about 21/22mm

Is that going off of data that is there already or are you taking into consideration games and price cut?

In about 8 weeks ps3 will surpass last years sales.

Crap list. No Euro-numbers as comparison.

has any other system seen this kinda growth week vs week for year vs year?
