As I said, since we can't be sure on the alternative, yes it is possible that DP would sell better on X360 even if released together... D4 would be harder to sell better solely on X1 because PS4 have twice the install base and is ahead in USA by 750k consoles (or like 20%).

I agree on the mistakes, but if MS hold the financials part them that would be a small mistake for MS (probably not a lot of money lost, but at least got an exclusive to boast and differentiate).

On the FF example perhaps I understood wrong, or you didn't know Ninty made the blunder on relationship. Anyway my bad for being unecessarily agressive on disagreeing. But for the sake of conversatition please explain better what you tough was similar on the FF case (I can just think that Square took a giant gamble if deciding on exclusivity with 0 compensation from Sony or that sony bet high and expend a lot to make PS1 desirable).

Yeah, sorry if I was too blunt replying to you too :)

Well TR would be a better case of unfariness (even more if they never release on PS4)... but no problem just we know probably both cases had a good money incentive.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

They made the deal for the wrong console, and with the wrong company, thanks to Microsoft, we are fucked, we paid the first part and we will never get a sequel ...

Do you even own the game?

I do, and i thought we would get a sequel before the end of the year, but it seems i was wrong, the first part was good so i hope Ms wont spit on the 10k buyers and will continue to fund the game to make the other parts, they got our money, now, they have to give us the other parts

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I don't think this is MS fault, the dev should know where they were getting into.

This, this, this and this.

I hope the studio will still earn enough money with this game though, but it's off to a bad start.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

Besides the fact that Swery publicly said he was to "Steve Jobs" the game. Which was announce it at TGS and then release right after with no build or hype. So Microsoft has nothing to do with his poor choice.

That's not what Swery is saying now.

Then he is an even bigger idiot. He clearly stated how he wanted to handle this release and now he is backtracking when it isn't going so well. Microsoft had no problem showcasing the game at E3 and in their upcoming releases and then all of a sudden it stopped. No other game went dark except D4.

That is because Swery wanted to pull a Steve Jobs like he publicly stated.

What's D4? 10k is a disaster regardless though.

Dark Dreams Don't DIe ... AKA D4

It's pretty clever, right ?

What a fantastically cheesy acronym...

Horrible marketing is obviously the biggest reason why.

They basically sent this game out to die. The results speak for themselves.

Still hoping this game comes for PC since i'm not getting a a Xbox One and i really like deadly premonition.
