It's the ranking of the cumulative sales of 9 months. FIFA 15 is only out for 2 weeks, the 8 months before FIFA 14 was the obvious option if you wanted a soccer game for your console/PC.

I guess I haven't been keeping up on Soccer games in some time... last time I bought a Soccer game it was ISS... and it was number 2 on the GC, great game. But have ISS and pro evo just stopped coming out now? odd there is no competition to Fifa, I guess they have all the licences for each league so it's hard to cut in.

So a bad game sells a lot, and people are happy about it. Perhaps its due to Wii U wners finally getting a AAA game after a long time. Anyways the drop will be huge next week.
