Forums - Nintendo - Last week the Wii U got its Flappy Bird clone, this week it gets its exclusive Angry birds clone!

You can already buy Angry Birds for Wii U.

It is way overpriced and on disc, though.

Oh God... Kill it with fire!

I think this should be a valid strategy and a focus for Nintendo. If multiplats don't come to them, just copy them.

I approve.

+1

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

I'm done.

I can see the argument for them to get someone (Maybe lego) to make a quality minecraft clone. But these are clones of games we don't even want the original versions of.

We already have Angry Birds on Wii U, I see no need for a clone. It seems quality control is hired help from a foreign country nowadays.

What really gets me is, they are starting to bring over crappy mobile phone games that would be .99 cents or free on mobile, yet want $1.99 or more on the eshop.

Wait a sec, I just checked the link. The video is from 2013, October of 2013. And it says 3ds.

Are you saying they are porting this to Wii U now?

He's not really saying anything at the moment because he has no source on the statement... he's just putting words on paper in sentence form.

Well, the title says this week it gets the game, I just checked the eshop and it's available for $8.99.

Too much for that game IMO.

What are you on about? Look at the freaking eshop on wii u, or this weeks downloads. It is an old video because the dev has not put up actual wiiu video yet on their site. I never just make shit up. Anyone who learned how to use their eyes as a baby can check out the validity of what I post on the eshop.

At work, can't check these things.

And, as per your other statement, Miiverse doesn't show that people want these titles, it shows that people are giving these titles more than their due attention and making them popular in their attempt to ridicule them... like with the Letter.

Odd reasoning skills going on here.

More than half enjoy them, and either way it is still not a flood like shovelware on the wii was or as expensive.

Miiverse has shown the ridicule, but it has also shown people having fun. Fun is the main point of games. Just look at spikey walls alone.

Either way, who are you to come in and tell me what to enjoy or do? I enjoy these games and obviously despite the scores are making decent sales, so they keep coming for more audience.

I am not telling you what to enjoy or not to enjoy, I am saying these titles are bottom-barrel development and only lead to more and more shovelware if they keep getting attention and releases. I don't even know why Nintendo lets them onto the eShop, maybe they think a few won't hurt or they don't have the oversight to handle it. They really need a curator program.

Its not like this is some sort of anomaly, every single unregulated download service gets stuffed with this shovelware the moment the gates are openned to it and allowed to stay open, its what's turned mobile into a cesspit. eShop should be for titles where developers actually, you know, put in effort into making good games not titles made to be played on a mobile phone. What's even the point of playing these things on a console and paying MORE for them? It literally makes no sense to me. All it does, in the end, is kill the eShop's ability to house and support titles that mean a damn.

These games have the ratings to show just how bad they are on the eShop. Its not like I am imagining the <3 ranking of the Letter or otherwise.

The funny part. The non-clone game is on the system itself
