User duckaluck made a 1 month ban bet with konnichiwa:

I'll bet my avatar and a 1 month ban that the PS3 by March 08 will be 3 Million units away in WW sales of the Wii. konnichiwa, Your gonna regret this!!!!!!

My initial thought was "WTF" but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that his last post was in November. So what happens to users who abandon their account when they know they're going to lose a ban bet? Anyway to find his alt and ban that one instead?

Well **** a duck. With a bet like that, I doubt he has the intelligence to make an alt 3 months in advance of his ban. And it'd be unnecessary to abandon one's account that early anyway. More likely he just got frustrated and left.

Not unless he was the alt. I had my suspicions when he firststarted posting, but I didn't think he was going abandon his account/VGC before the ban bet.

He still needs to face his ban.
